Fut Jensen's private photography collection

Introduction

This is an index of the still photos from Fut's personal photo archive and collection of personal documents which comprises three folders. As Fut was a professional photographer all his life, his collection must have been much larger - the wereabouts of the remaining collection are unknow - but it is assumed that these photographs are the most pertinent to Fut's personal life and the years arount the Kosmos assignment.

The original photos were typically 8 x 10 cm. These were scanned at 24 bit RGB 300 d.p.i. giving a typical resolution of approx 1600 x 975 pixels, and archived in TIFF format. The archive filenames of the originals is in the format FJP###.tif commencing with 001. For the website archive, all photos have been rescaled to three sizes 245, 500 and 640 pixels wide/high (depending on landscape or portrait format) with filenames FJP###S.jpg , FJP###M.jpg and FJP###W.jpg respectively. These images are of lower resolution, but suitable for this website. This page is slow to load, so be patient! Rescaling and cropped versions for the TV production will be at 768 x 576 pixels in full colour / monochrome TIFF format and will have the filename format FJP###T.tif
